Founded in Nashville, TN in 2004, Carter Group began with two experienced colleagues whose primary focus was to establish a company with the right people who possess integrity, technical expertise, and a dedication to exceeding the expectations of each client every time.
Carter Group was founded by Lee Carter and Griff Irby, who are respected leaders in the construction industry in Nashville and beyond. In 2023, Lee Carter was awarded the Rodgers-Bell Award from Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Tennessee, which is the most prestigious award the chapter can bestow upon a member. His tenacity, understanding, love, and service to the ABC organization and the construction industry greatly influences the culture at Carter Group today.
